9 Times Actors Majorly Spoiled Their Own Movies

Even movies without a large or continuing franchise behind them still catch out actors who reveal too much. The Time Traveller's Wife is a 2009 romance film based on the 2003 novel, starring Eric Bana playing a time traveller alongside co-star Rachel Mcadams, who, coincidentally, plays his wife. The movie is filled with twists and turns, as the couple attempt to stay together whilst her husband jumps forwards and backwards in time without control of where he will end up.

The heart wrenching last moments see McAdam's character Clare watch her husband die. For many, it was a moment hinted at throughout the final acts of the film but still as shocking as it happens in real time. Something that should definitely not be spoiled at least.

Yet in an interview with The Daily Show to promote the movie, the actress was asked about the film and reeled off as much as she could muster up, giving way too much detail about the ins and outs of the narrative and what was to happen to the characters. Host Jon Stewart was left stunned by her reveal, unsure of what to do.

Marvel still let McAdams in to their own movies, starring in Doctor Strange but kept her mouth closed this time.
