9 Upcoming Movies That Sound Cool (But Will Probably Suck)

1. Zombieland 2

Zombieland Owen Wilson Jesse Eisenberg
Columbia Pictures

Ever since the original stole our hearts by giving audiences zombie apocalypse rules to die by, Columbia Pictures has been trying and failing to get a sequel off the ground.

Like the flick's undead villains, over the years the idea of making a follow up has never been able to be kept down. Pushing through a multitude of setbacks, including a short-lived TV show spin-off that recast all the core characters, a true sequel was finally announced this year, bringing all the actors back and releasing in 2019.

Getting the original talent back on board is in itself a miracle considering just how in-demand they've all become (both in front of and behind the camera), but there's the pervasive feeling that the time for a sequel has passed. Like Bad Boys 3, it will be great seeing the cast together again for another round of bashing skulls, but if it's not done right, the initially nostalgia could quickly give way to a general feeling of sadness.
