9 Ways DC Could Respond To Spider-Man Joining The MCU

4. Start The Crisis Storyline

Or, if DC and Warner Bros. are feeling particularly brave, they could make an attempt at the Crisis storyline, introducing the concept of multiple universes and therefore the idea that these new iterations of DC characters are part of the same multiverse as ones you€™ve already seen on the big screen in the past. It€™d be taking the more grounded feel away from the new DC universe and putting the upcoming slate of films properly in the realm of science fiction. It€™d be a big step that€™d potentially alienate fans of the Nolan DC movies, but Marvel only got to where it is today by taking risks.
