9. Wanna Suck Face? - Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
Sheila was introduced in The Dream Master as Alice's archetypal nerdy high school friend. The pair fall asleep whilst in class, where Sheila dreams of still being at her desk sitting a quiz.
Freddy appears at the other end of the classroom as the teacher and gets up to stand in front of her. The zoom-in shot of Sheila and Freddy looking at each other with Krueger's glove only separating their two faces has always been one of the more artsy shots in the middle Nightmare movies, with the 'wanna suck face?' line earning its place as one of the franchise's most memorable sign-offs.
Freddy then proceeds to suck all the air out of Sheila, with some solid practical effects doing a great job in making the whole sequence as horrifying as possible. The attention to detail in having her eyes darting around the room always looked especially scary, and the way in which Freddy casually tosses Sheila's body aside once he's done with it caps off a great kill.
The fact that Sheila's death ties in with her asthma and social awkwardness especially around boys also gives it a nice call back to her time in the real world.
