5. Ripley

Now this one, for me, is a little bit special. I wont say it is easy to make a replica of an Alien Warrior or Facehugger, but the fact that they were created for the movies as these were the days before full-blown CGI means that obviously they can be recreated faithfully with a certain level of skill. Humans are a whole different ball game. As Madame Tussards, and their other incarnations, have proved, recreating a human takes something really special and can often go horribly wrong. Therefore, this bust of Alien heroine Ellen Ripley ie. Sigourney Weaver is just a treasure to behold. Life-sized and based on the original 1979 movie, this is a one-off piece that will never find its way onto your window sill. Made out of silicone by Steve Scotts Sculpting Studios, this is my personal joint favourite of all the replicas here.
