15. Tom And Jerry - March 5th
Coming in hot in March (nothing is announced for February as of yet) is the live action adaptation of Tom and Jerry, the classic Hannah-Barbera cartoon.
For those who aren't familiar with the premise (all two of you) Tom and Jerry centres around a hapless cat, Tom, who devotes all his time to chasing a wily, intelligent mouse, Jerry. The pair have been duelling on the silver screen and the small screen since the 1940s, and have starred in hundreds of television episodes and fourteen films since their creation.
The 2021 film will also star Chloe Grace Moretz and Michael Pena, as well as Ken Jeong, Rob Delaney and Colin Jost (of SNL fame).
This is the third live action adaptation of the classic duo, and is being directed by Tim Story, who before this directed the Ride Along series and Shaft. Quite the tonal shift there.
Tom and Jerry has always been simple, clean fun for all ages, so if you're looking to settle down with the family (or just want to feel good in the new year) March might be the month for you.
