Avengers: 12 BEST Abandoned Endgame & Infinity War Ideas

After Thanos snapped his fingers at the end of Infinity War, he was transported to some sort of astral plane by the Soul Stone, where he had a conversation with a young version of his daughter. This offered the Mad Titan some clarity, and possibly even reassurance that he did the right thing, and was a touching moment.

When Tony Stark did the same thing at the end of Endgame however, there was no such conversation, although there almost was. Again taking place at where the Russo brothers called the Way Station, Stark would have come face to face with his now grown up daughter, Morgan.

The conversation would have let Tony open up to his daughter, played by Katherine Langford, about the fear that he had done the wrong thing and made a huge mistake. However, Morgan was there to let him know that because of him, she got the chance to live, and to grow up being proud of her father.

The idea was ultimately dropped as it slowed the momentum of the movie, but it would have been a touching scene nonetheless. There was also the idea of having Bruce speak to the Hulk when he snapped his fingers, but again, this didn't make the final cut either.
