6. Tony Stark And Pepper Have A Baby

The Rumour

This one could also fit in with the rumour that the sequel is set five years after Infinity War: one rumour - started on the back of Gwyneth Paltrow seemingly letting something slip.

In an interview with the Official “Avengers: Infinity War” Magazine (via The Playlist), she revealed that Stark and Pepper Potts' future is surprisingly normal:

“Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.”

Given that they're not married and have no child in Infinity War, that suggests we're going into the future.

It definitely fits and that does seem to be the trajectory of the characters in Infinity War.

And just imagine how DEVASTATING it would be for Tony Stark to have to give up his family in order to save everyone who was killed when Thanos snapped. Even more devastatingly, it totally fits his character.
