3. Avengers 4 Is "A Finale"

We've heard the suggestion before, but Kevin Feige has once more stated that Avengers 4 will definitely be a finale. It will bring "things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.”

So does that mean lots of dead Avengers? Even more retired ones? The feature openly promises some departures: “at least some of the original characters who sit at the center of the billion-dollar Avengers team will be hanging up their capes and shields.” It's just a question of how it happens now.

But a finale doesn't mean an end. The MCU will go on even after those retirements and that "definitive end" - it's just that it will be distinctly different:

“There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting."
