Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 11 Implications For Captain America: Civil War

8. Wakanda Is Finally Introduced

One of the trickiest aspects of the MCU to set up moving forward is Black Panther, considering that his home country is a fictional location which hasn't been referenced in the MCU up to this point. That all changes with Age of Ultron, though, because when the Avengers realise that Ultron needs to acquire vibranium, it's mentioned that the material comes from the African island (as is true in the comics). Though Wakanda itself isn't shown and the excursion largely takes place in a South African shipyard (featuring Andy Serkis' brilliant Ulysses Klaue), the fact that the country is even name-dropped shows that Marvel are readying Black Panther's introduction in Civil War. It's still unknown how big Panther's part in the movie will be ahead of his own standalone film, though you can bet that Civil War will almost certainly see either Cap or Iron Man taking a trip to Wakanda, which would be awesome.
