Avengers: Endgame - 12 Plot Hints From The New Trailer

The first trailer may have given audiences their first look at Hawkeye-turned-Ronin, but it left us all wondering exactly what had become of the Barton family in the interim.

Well, this new trailer pretty much tells us exactly what happens to them, without actually showing it.

There are a few shots of Clint watching proudly as his daughter does some target practice with a bow-and-arrow, all while the rest of the family is having a picnic in the background. Unfortunately for everyone's favorite archer, this is almost certainly mere moments before Thanos' snap turns Clint's family to dust.

In the comics, Hawkeye becomes Ronin after his family is murdered as an act of revenge and mourning, and Endgame looks to very much be following suit.

Notably, in these shots, Clint has yet to get his new haircut so its more likely than not that after his family dies, he becomes Ronin, gets a sweet new haircut, and it isn't until quite sometime later that Black Widow goes to find and recruit him.

RIP the Barton family, we barely knew ye.
