Avengers: Every Single Deleted Scene From Endgame & Infinity War

Iron Man in Asgard, a touching tribute and even a giant snake; not every scene could make the cut...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe revolutionised the film landscape with its mapped-out world-building and long-form storytelling enticing fans for over a decade, as they stuck by it through all of its many highs and its admittedly few lows. And it was all orchestrated with a bumper endgame in mind, as every single moment built towards the game-changing conclusion that took place across films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

But when you've spent over 10 years building towards something, ideas will come, go and resurface some point later before perhaps disappearing altogether. Yes, even with a double-barrel conclusion the scale of these two groundbreaking films, not everything was destined to make the cut. And with that, a number of scenes - some great, some not-so-great - were left on the cutting room floor.

The recent Quarantine Watch Parties to celebrate the anniversaries of both films turned up a number of delightful little goods that fans weren't aware of before. So with that in mind, let's put it all together.

From scenes that were erased from early script drafts right through to ones that were filmed and then scrapped (some of which were lucky enough to make the deleted scenes reel of the home video releases), let's go through every abandoned moment from Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame and see which ideas ultimately didn't make the cut.

41. Hunt For The Mind Stone (Extended)

While Infinity War does indeed feature the moment in which Thanos' soldiers attack Vision and Wanda Maximoff in Scotland in order to extract the Mind Stone from the former's head, it initially had a longer - and much more theatrical - intro.

While the final version sees Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive waste little time getting into things with the two heroes, it's original iteration actually saw them miss Wanda with the first blow (thanks to Vision's intervention) and subsequently toy with their prey.

Though deleting it didn't have any significant effect on the scene, it's a shame that it was cut as it actually goes a long way in establishing Proxima as an imtimidating force to be reckoned with.
