Avengers Infinity War: 10 Predictions That Were Entirely Wrong

7. Steve And Tony Didn't Get Their Emotional Reunion

Ever since Civil War ended with the mother of all breakups between Captain America and Iron Man, fans have been counting down the days to see the pair reunite in Infinity War. There was so much that needed addressing: How has Tony dealt with Cap hiding his parents' death from him? Will they be able to work together despite their personal and political differences? How are they going to mend the hole Cap figuratively and literally punched into Tony's chest?

Unfortunately, the answers to all these questions are being saved for the sequel, as the two don't even get five minutes together in Infinity War. There are moments where the two threaten to interact, and Tony does attempt to call his former friend when New York is first attacked, but the reunion never happens.

In fact, neither hero shares a single moment of screen time with each other in Infinity War, which more than makes sense in the context of the plot, but is admittedly a touch disappointing for those expecting to see their favourite heroes together again onscreen.
