1. A Major Character - Probably An Avenger - Must Die
The MCU threatens to become overwhelmed if the studio don't start cutting down the cast list in the coming years, and with many actors already ingrained in the franchise planning to bail out soon, like Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth (their contracts are soon up), Marvel are presumably looking to find a way to decrease the amount of heroes. Which essentially means that some characters are likely to die in Avengers: Infinity War, and what better way to mark the end of the first instalment - that's to say, the final moments of Part 1 - than with the unexpected death of a major character? Not somebody in a secondary role, mind, but a character with real weight. Given that a death at the end of Part I would presumably a) blow up the internet and b) keep people talking until the second part a year later, this seems like a viable option. But who will it be? Iron Man? Thor? Captain America? Black Widow? You'd be foolish to believe that all these heroes will make it through the first movie - Infinity War is hell, after all, and Marvel, moving towards phase four, need to show that everyone is dispensable.
