Avengers: Infinity War: 10 Things That Must Happen

4. The Torch Is Passed On

One of the biggest problems facing the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the way it's going to continue it on when its most bankable stars - the main six Avengers - decide to move on.

We know that Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr are approaching the end of their obligations to the franchise, and that means there are some big, big shoes to fill. Fortunately, Infinity War is the perfect opportunity to pass the torch onto the next generation of heroes - and it's an opportunity that Marvel must take while it's there.

Because the initial group of Avengers - Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye - will, in all likelihood, never be in the same movie with some of Marvel's newer heroes - Black Panther, Spidey, Doctor Strange - again. This makes Infinity War the only chance for those Avenging duties to be passed on in a respectful, logical manner.

And after all these years, it just feels like the right time. We've seen movie after movie with these characters and they're great, but the roster has to switch up if things are to stay fresh.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
