6. There Were Almost DRAGONS Involved

Despite the fact that Peter Dinklage's Eitri is a brilliant addition to the film, he wasn't always going to be involved. The script discussions early on actually took in various options for explaining how Thor would get Stormbreaker to replace Mjolnir.

And one of the most interesting revelations is that dragons were at one point entertained as an option, which would have been pretty badass. But the decision to bring in Eitri was taken because it tied back to the main story better and it reminded everyone that Thanos is actually a complete sh*t of a character.

5. A Missing Scene Explained A Convenience

The commentary addresses how convenient it is that Tony has the phone he keeps to contact Captain America in emergencies in his pocket right at the time he needs it in the film's first act. This was apparently expanded on a little more in a cut scene between Pepper and TOny.

The deleted scenes also confirm that the scene of Tony and Pepper talking in the park about their future kids was originally longer, and Happy Hoganwas involved. That scene is available in full on the home release.
