8. Bucky

Cause of Death: Disintegrated.

Bucky's (Sebastian Stan) death is significant because it's the first disintegration following Thanos' snap, and therefore has tremendous shock value.

Bucky's confusion reflects the audience's surprise, and Cap's subsequent horror at what's happened to his pal really sells the moment wonderfully.

It's definitely weird that his gun didn't turn to dust but his arm did, though, especially as this could've led to an hilarious gag in Avengers 4 where Rocket (Bradley Cooper) actually gets the arm, just as he said he would.

Considering how little Buck was featured in Infinity War, it's a shame he'll probably also be benched for a good chunk of Avengers 4, but hopefully he'll get one hell of a comeback in act three.
