Even Tim Burton's Batman movies notoriously neglected one major aspect of Batman as a character - the fact that he is The World's Greatest Detective - and it's high time we got to see some of that in a Batman movie.

While Arkham Asylum obviously has action at the forefront, the fact that it is a story-lead arc that explores psychology as much as it does fisticuffs, means there's scope to bring out Bruce Wayne's investigative side.

Arkham is also underpinned by a mystery - of who is actually behind the riots and trying to get Batman killed - and that would allow for the right balance between action (which gets fans on seats) and intrigue (which keeps them talking when they get back out of them). And the idea of Affleck's Bruce Wayne attempting to follow threads around Arkham's creepy interior is a hell of a thing.
