3. Under The Red Hood Fits Better

There has never been a better opportunity to adapt Under The Red Hood than right now. We have a Joker on the loose (or presumably on the loose after Suicide Squad), a mystery surrounding a supposedly dead Robin and the most haunted Batman we've yet seen on screen.

When it was initially rumoured that Affleck would be adapting the iconic story, and filling in the gaps in the dead Robin saga, it seemed to fit. There was surely no way they'd go to such lengths to set up the Jason Todd switcheroo in Batman v Superman and then just abandon it, right?

If Affleck does indeed adapt an entirely different story, it's just going to look like Warner Bros dumped their longer term plans (unless of course this isn't a linear movie). Either way, it would be a fairly big missed opportunity.
