5. Hush
So why would this be a good Batman film? Well, for starters, it's written by Jeph Loeb with art by Jim Lee... need I go on? This story brings together every single thing a good movie requires: action, romance, drama, mystery, hell, even comedy! This gripping twelve chapter story-arc introduced a new villain into the Batman mythos: Hush, a.k.a Dr. Thomas Elliot, gifted surgeon and childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. This, I feel, would be quite the Batman film, as Hush has never been in a Batman film before, and boy, is he one a hell of a villain! Furthermore, the relationships between Bruce and Tommy Elliot as opposed to the tension between Batman and Hush will be interesting to see on screen. The story of Batman: Hush revolves around a number of Batman's rogues plunging Gotham into complete anarchy. Little does anyone know, however, that they are all pawns in the control of the mysterious criminal mastermind, Hush, who is gunning for Bruce Wayne. This is arguably one of the greatest, and definitely one of my favourite Batman stories of all time. Although, this may not work well as the first in a set of rebooted films due to the large number of rogues present in the story, whom many new fans may not know.
