8. What Does Batmans World Look Like?
Even though hes sharing the title-billing, its pretty evident that everyone is more anxious to see Batman than Superman, if only because we know so little about this incarnation of the character. So far,theres been snippets of his fighting style and general attitude as well as a good look at the Batcave and Alfred, but Batmans world is extraordinarily vast and theres still plenty to wonder about. Specifically, which supporting characters are lurking around Gotham City? We know that a Robin is dead and while its likely Jason Todd, theres been no confirmation. Does that mean Dick Grayson is out there somewhere as Nightwing? Considering the apparent influences from The Dark Knight Returns, could we be looking at the inclusion of female Robin Carrie Kelly? Then there's Batgirl to consider thanks to some all-but-confirmed speculation that Jena Malone was going to be playing Barbara Gordon. And why isn't her father about if he's going to be appearing in Justice League? Furthermore, whats the state of Gotham City? Is it the crime-ridden city we know or is Wayne Enterprises helping clean it up? Is Bruce Wayne involved in his own company or is he more of a recluse? Its possible some of the answers will be saved for the Batman solo outing but theres no denying how far a few minutes in Batmans world will go to clearing up all of this.
