Batman V Superman: 8 Post-Credit Stingers That Could Happen

4. Setting The Stage For Aquaman's Atlantis

Green Lantern aside, the DC cinematic universe is in full swing, and leading the water-based charge is your friendly neighborhood fishmonger, Aquaman. Not a character contemporary audiences will be familiar with, he resides in the underwater utopia of Atlantis, home to a wide variety of magic folk. It's precisely this reason why DC and Zack Snyder should feature him and his world prominently in Batman v Superman's post-credit scene. Aquaman and Atlantis are inherently ridiculous concepts, the former possessing the ability to ride sharks and the latter existing entirely underwater, a setting that will likely be 100 percent CGI and as such will take some time for audiences to accept. However, with Batman v Superman undoubtedly being viewed by millions of people of all ages across the globe, DC have a big chance to let this fantastical world sink in. The more familiar audiences are with this character and his universe, the more likely it is that his solo film will be a success in 2018. Show us a badass Aquaman post-credit stinger that displays his power and gives us a taste of the visual style his film will adopt. It's the perfect opportunity for it.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for over ten years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too. If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order, or to give you a random factoid about the making of Gridlock, Danny is the person to ask!
