Batman V Superman: 9 Major Concerns From The New Trailer

3. Doomsday Is Not Convincing Anyone

Like a terrible cross between the Cave Troll from The Lord Of The Rings, a Goomba from the Super Mario Bros. movie and the Abomination from Marvel's The Incredible Hulk, the surprise villain of Batman V Superman - Doomsday - is a sorely worrisome creation. First of all, it seems like a terrible idea to have unveiled this character in a trailer - why didn't Warner Bros. just keep his existence under wraps until it came time for the film? People didn't need to see the sight of Doomsday to convince them to go to the theatre - the movie is called Batman V Superman, for God's sake. It's already a big no-brainer. Secondly, what the hell is up with that entrance? A genetic hybrid who bursts out from the side of a building and, like, skids across the floor, throwing up gravel? You might expect that from a lesser film, but in this movie? Whose idea was it to have Doomsday make an entrance of those specifications? Did that person really believe it was a good idea? It's a terrible shame that Doomsday was revealed full-stop, but it's even worse that he looks so darn terrible. Is it too late to, you know, cut him out of the movie, Mr. Snyder?
