Batman V Superman: 9 Major Concerns From The New Trailer
2. Wonder Woman Feels Out Of Place
Wonder Woman: in a movie filled with alien beings, masked heroes and a nightmarish monster, you'd think that she'd have felt a little more attuned to the world of the DC Cinematic Universe. And yet the moment she appears in the trailer, during a "comical" aside that sees Batman and Superman wondering where she sprung from, it feels wrong. Not wrong like Gal Gadot was poor casting or anything, but wrong like... it doesn't quite match up. Like, of all the weird, tonally-conflicting things happening in the trailer, it's this one that doesn't ring true the most. There's no real reason why, other than "context." It's not like the trailer made that much of an effort to ensue that Wonder Woman didn't feel out of place, though: she's thrown in at the very end, like Warner Bros. remembered at the last minute, "Oh, and get a bit in there with Wonder Woman as well. Make it funny. And don't give her any lines. We don't want to give more than one girl a line in this trailer."
