Batman V Superman: Ranking The Performances From Worst To Best
6. Amy Adams - Lois Lane
Amy Adams is far too good an actress to find herself playing boring characters like this one. You get the feeling that with Lois, Adams is just phoning it in, wondering why she signed a three-picture deal with Warner Bros. in the first place. Lois isn't a character, after all - she's a plot device and an exposition machine all thrown into one. As such, Adams is serviceable but entirely forgettable as Superman's famed love interest. She has no personality. You couldn't say a single thing about her interests or even something about her personality from what she does in either Man of Steel or Batman vs Superman. She's an empty shell; a flavourless prop. So whilst Amy Adams isn't bad in this movie, exactly, she has all the impact of a shrug. She only avoids being close to the bottom because so many of the other actors were given almost nothing to do (and Jesse Eisenberg was awful).
