2. A Whole City Wont Be Destroyed Again
This is a big one: fans are hoping that Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will learn from the mistakes of Man Of Steel. Nobody wants to see another city destroyed in the name of defeating a supervillain. Most fans would surely rather see superheroes saving lives, not endangering them. The biggest fear here is that the introduction of Lex Luthors Doomsday-esque monstrous villain will cause a whole load of destruction, and could lead to a similar body-count to Man Of Steels Black Zero event in Metropolis. If the superheroes of Batman V Superman do nothing to try and prevent this, Snyder will end up inspiring even more online rage from the fans. Hopefully, the introduction of Doomsday will allow the more experienced heroes Batman and Wonder Woman to show Superman how its meant to be done. They could teach him how to lure the destruction away from populated areas, and to consider the human cost at all times. Christopher Reeves Superman always used to protect people during his battles; perhaps this will be the movie when Henry Cavills Kal-El learns this technique. Certainly, the fans would be very pleased to see this.
