12. The New Songs

In The Original

Songs like "Be Our Guest", "Something There" and "Beauty And The Beast" went down in history as some of Disney's greatest songs. Even "Human Again", which was cut but then readded for special editions was well worthy of some of that praise.

In The Remake

Rather than using "Human Again" or any of the Broadway musical songs, the remake includes three new songs that were written and composed specially for the update.

"Evermore" is sung by Beast, "Days In The Sun" is sung by the enchanted objects in the castle and “How Does a Moment Last Forever” is sung by Emma Watson's Belle. They're all good new additions and are completely in fitting with the musical personality of the original.
