20 Awesome Moments From TERRIBLE Recent Movies

7. Max's Death - The Devil's Mouth

The Devil's Mouth

The Devil's Mouth is one of the worst shark movies to hit screens big or small in recent times, because despite the presence of talented leads Kathryn Newton and Lana Condor, this is a generic, visually muddy affair from the ever-terrible Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare, Imaginary).

But there is a single moment that might leave you cheering with sadistic glee - the demise of the movie's most obnoxious character, Max (Condor).

In addition to being the reason that the central group ends up pursued by a hungry shark in a dangerous part of the titular cave system, Max is repeatedly shown to be a selfish a**hole, enough that you'll likely quickly wish for her to become shark chow.

And that she eventually does, being snatched off a cliff edge by the shark, dragged into the water below, and devoured. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person, honestly.

It's a shame that the film's lighting is so infuriatingly dim that you'll struggle to see what's going on, but in an aggressive nothingburger of a creature feature, this is the single moment to actually make you feel something other than boredom.
