Black Panther's TWO Post-Credits Scenes Explained
Mid-Credits Scene: Wakanda And The World
The first scene isn't at all surprising, given that the film ends with T'Challa revealing plans for a Wakandan outreach programme designed to do some good in the world (and herald a "one tribe" mentality). It sees T'Challa return to the UN in Vienna - where his father was killed - to announce Wakanda's plans to reveal their secrets to the world.
Without going into too much detail of what that will entail, T'Challa announces that he will be sharing the country's resources and knowledge with the world. Inevitably, when a fellow UN delegate asks - with all due respect - what a nation of farmers can bring to the world, he smiles wryly and the scene cuts to black.
What It Means
Clearly, Wakanda is going to be at the forefront of the evolution of the world in the MCU. They're going to share their resources, their wealth and their technology with the rest of the world to try and help those in the most need. Nakia will lead the social side of that, while Shuri will impart her technological prowess upon the world from the centre in Oakland, California.
The UN setting is key too, as it represents the full circle realisation of T'Challa's first act story. Like Killmonger, his father was killed and he could have turned to the same sort of impassioned militarism as his foe, but in returning to the site of his father's assassination and sharing a progression plan, he proved himself better than Erik.
