Last Visited: Moonraker Other films shot there: There is actually one fictional narrative movie shot in outer space- a short called Apogee of Fear. Though NASA haven't yet cleared it for release. Highlight: Well, our own Moon is meant to be delightful in the summer... if you're lucky, you might even catch George Clooney floating about, or a Hospital guarded by Rhino-headed policemen! Maybe even a luminous giant baby in a space bubble if you're lucky! Why? The big one... the final frontier. Bond has done space before, in the Star Wars-aping disaster that was Moonraker- a camp mess if ever there ever was one. Bond should definitely visit Space again, but in realistic conditions. Imagine Daniel Craig in Gravity or Sunshine! An epic finale set in Outer Space can be both plausible and thrilling- this is the sort of stuff IMAX was invented for! Quantum may even have their own satellite or space station, hidden from government detection where they are keeping a watch over the world's security agencies. Bond has to be trained up as an actual astronaut in order to fight those who threaten our planet and tackles them in zero gravity. The technology used for Gravity could make an outer space outing for 007 both believable and incredibly exciting. If it's pulled off with respect and ingenuity, this is one location for Bond that could be essential and iconic.
