Bourne 5: 5 Ways It Can Continue The Saga

2. Continue The Scientific Experimental Angle

Marta What I really enjoyed about the last film was the insight into what created men like Jason Bourne. The labs. The training. The remote facilities like the one in Alaska. The pill regiments to keep them physically and mentally strong. I think also that's why Marta Shearing worked so well, as the character though which we were introduced to this side of the story. There are a number of ways the next film can take it. Damaging psychological effects to other operatives. Aaron Cross made it through but what about other survivors? Could the government have unwittingly unleashed killers into the world failing to cope with psychological traumas? Could Doctor Marta be key into helping them? It might have taken the mystery out of Jason Bourne's background but I think it gave the saga more depth. It is something that should continue alongside the action and mystery. And I think that's why, with its mix of action and science, The Bourne Legacy had the best plot and tone of them all.
