Bumblebee: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

While the Transformers franchise has existed for over 30 years, and fans of the series have countless animated shows, comic books and video games that have more fully fleshed out the lore and mythos of the universe, mainstream audiences have largely seen no exploration of the wider universe of Transformers outside of the five main film instalments, released over the last 11 years.

Enter Bumblebee - a spin-off that seeks to better flesh out the backstory of perhaps the most beloved Transformers character that will attract the attention of many.

Incidentally, we'll get to explore the history of Transformers as a species on Earth long before they arrived in the far future of 2007. A subplot that seems to give us a closeup at the infamous War of Cybertron won't be going amiss either.
