With Taron Egerton and Elton John in floods of tears at just about every press event, it was clear this film was made with a lot of love. The two performed a beautiful duet together before the film's first showing, proving that Egerton was not just an impersonator; he was the perfect casting choice.
With wonderful performances all round and amazing choreography, this is a jukebox musical done right. The songs drive the story and the scenes are fantastical pieces of genius. This is certainly not one to miss.
