9. Creator Cameo

Stan Lee isn't the only Captain America creator who is included in the film. As was revealed in the Superbowl pre-release trailer, comic book legend Ed Brubaker also appears as a member of the team who wipe The Winter Soldier's memory when he begins to remember his former life and tie to Captain America. The homage is understandable given that he created The Winter Soldier, and wrote the story that forms the foundation for the movie. There's also a Special Thanks in the credits dedicated to him.
