9. Black Widow Will Have To Choose Between Captain America & Hawkeye

Speaking of love interests, there was clearly something going on between Black Widow and Captain America in The Winter Soldier - whether or not it was just a red herring and Marvel decided to have them flirting with each other because, hey, they were together for most of the movie and why not, or because there's genuinely some romance to be explored - well, we're not entirely sure. Fact is, we already know that Black Widow has feelings for Hawkeye, because we witnessed a tender scene between the two in The Avengers. It was brief, but we got the message. But it genuinely did feel like there were true feelings on show throughout The Winter Soldier, and Marvel weren't shy about playing up the sexual tension between these supers. Why else would they include a scene where the pair are forced to passionately kiss one another in order to evade being spotted? Or frequent moments where Black Widow asks Captain America about his love life, or who he fancies? There's even a scene where they talk about what Black Widow might look like in a bikini, for God's sake! Is this true love we're seeing, or is the girl just a massive flirt? Whatever is going on here, it seems obvious that at some point in a future MCU movie - presumably in Avengers: Age of Ultron - there's going to be a little scene where Black Widow has to split off from the rest of the gang to do something important that is also extremely dangerous, and both Captain America and Hawkeye will say "I'll come, too," and then they both look at each other, and it's super awkward, and you can totally imagine that happening, can't you?
