1. Captain America
Well, duh: of all the characters in Captain America: Civil War, it's the titular superhero who really stands to lose the most across the span of the movie. Why, you ask? Well, for starters, he's the leader of The Avengers. Having somehow fumbled his role to such a point that all-out war erupts between said superhero team is a lot of weight to carry on one's shoulders - during and in the aftermath. And being the leader of one such side is not going to be an easy task, especially since Steve Rogers is set to lead his own faction against Tony Stark's crew as the two bicker over a new government regime. It won't necessarily be good for his reputation, either: how will Captain America earn back all the respect that he has mustered as an all-American hero having been involved with something as inherently dangerous as a Civil War? And what about all the allies he's sure to lose? Iron Man? Black Widow (and therefore Bruce "The Hulk" Banner)? Who else? What's more, there are a lot of rumours circulating which state that Captain America is going to meet his end before the credits roll. Chris Evans still has a bunch of movies on his contract with Marvel, of course, but who knows? It's not like he hasn't expressed a desire to move on, and the death of a major character would certainly succeed in shaking things up. Like this article? Agree or disagree with our picks?
