Captain America: Civil War - 10 Massive Plot Predictions From The New Trailer

1. Tony Betrays Peter Parker

In the comic books surrounding the original superhero Civil War, Tony Stark designed a snazzy suit for Spider-Man, albeit with a major hidden feature. When Peter turned against Tony€™s government team, he found out that Stark had been using the costume to spy on Spider-Man€™s movements, a huge betrayal of trust that forced a big divide between shell-head and the web-slinger. Similar events could play out in the Civil War movie, with Iron Man and Spider-Man forming an alliance early on, only for Peter to find out that Tony has been spying on him and using him. This would turn them against each other, and give Spidey some serious trust issues to carry into his 2017 solo movie. What's the trailer evidence? Well, when Tom Holland€™s Spider-Man showed up at the end, his costume was an obvious advancement of previous Spidey suits, especially the eyes. Peter€™s smart, but would he have been able to manufacture those hi-tech eyes on a high school student budget? Probably not; maybe he had help from Tony Stark, who couldn't resist the urge to add some covert surveillance into the suit while he was at it. This could turn Peter against Tony, provide a big twist for the film, and tee some some serious qualms with authority for Spidey to build upon in later movies. What€™s your big prediction for Captain America: Civil War? Let us know in the comments.
