Marvel StudiosAnd now for something entirely unexpected: according to the apparently loose lips of Anthony Mackie, Hulk WILL be appearing in Civil War:
"Having seen the movie, its Marvels best movie so far. And Im being honest if a Marvel movie sucks, a movie in the Marvel universe, Ill tell you it sucked. Winter Soldier and (the first) Iron Man are probably Marvels two best movies, and I feel like (Civil War) beats both of those movies. Its really, really good. Its because its more of an acting movie than an action movie. I feel like the story is very concise and interesting, and you get to see Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannson and Mark Ruffalo and everybody just do really, really good ACTING. And then theres action in it. I think it might be the first superhero movie that might be up for Best Picture."
Ruffalo, eh? That's a fairly massive slip, and a major contradiction of what we're being told about Hulk's current whereabouts. Rating: 6/10 It seems like an odd thing for Mackie to say without there being something behind it, but then he might well be messing with the media. After all, it would take something major to have him return so quickly after his self-exile. Perhaps Mackie's just expressing all of the MCU's fans' wishes?
