2. It Actually Will Closely Adapt The Comic
MarvelAccording to comic book creator Mark Millar Civil War is actually going to be a close adaptation of the source, despite claims of loose adaptation at earlier stages of production:
"No, its much the same. Theyve added characters they have the rights to as some of their characters are scattered around different studios, but the main players and their chief lieutenants in this thing are all the same."
Rating: 7/10 It surely can't be entirely close to the source, right? We won't see the death of Goliath (or Giant Man as the in universe equivalent), we won't see Spidey unmask, we won't see Stamford, and it's still hard to accept that Cap will die. But Mark Millar has seen the film (or at least an early cut) and he wrote the comic, so suggesting his assessment is entirely wrong would be foolish.
