9. Hawkeye

Though it's not entirely clear why Hawkeye would even answer the call to help boost Team Cap's numbers (he's never appeared principled enough to defy his wife's wishes for his safety up to now for one more mission), Hawkeye plays his supporting role well.

His fight scene with VIsion is very funny (even if he's made to look soemthing of a fool), and he gets the excellent fan-baiting team-up with Ant-Man in the airport sequence.

More than anything though, it's when Hawkeye and the rest of the team are imprisoned on the raft that he briefly comes into his own. Casting off the label of pointless sidekick that's hampered him for so long, Clint stabs at Tony's morality and contradictions in a beautifully snarky tirade. It's arguably his finest moment in the entire franchise.
