Captain America: Civil War - Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Bucky

After he was relegated to a supporting player in the film that used his own name, it was only right that Bucky would be boosted to higher billing for Civil War. He's the moral and emotional heart of the film, personifying a number of complex ideas, including the reality of victimhood, the power of brotherly love and the morality of enforced villainy.
He's not exactly a three dimensional character for the most part - because his heartfelt exchanges with Captain America are mostly interrupted by people trying to kill them - but it's testament to Sebastian Stan's performance that he sells why Cap is duty bound to him. He switches from cold hearted assassin to little boy lost, and it's a great thing that Phase 3 will continue his story.
We also got to see some more flashes of the old Bucky - bantering with Falcon, vying for Cap's attention - and we can only hope he doesn't stay on ice in Black Panther's movie for too long.
