Captain America: Civil War - Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best
5. Black Panther

What a debut for Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa. After seeing his father killed (supposedly by Bucky), the Panther initially shows his more animal side, throwing his kingly duty out of the window to try and take vengeance on Bucky.
He's very much the counterpoint to Tony Stark and Helmut Zemo: all three are tied together by familial tragedies and all three are afforded the opportunity to take their revenge. It is only Black Panther, in full regal splendour by the time his revelation comes, who realises that vengeance solves nothing.
Luckily, we get to see him give it a good go before that point though: his unique Cat-rate/Jiu Catsu style is incredible to watch, and far from looking as silly as a guy in a cat suit had the potential to, he's a legitimate bad-ass.
It also helps that Boseman plays T'Challa with a slightly "exotic" tone - not in terms of race, but in terms that flatly state that his world is far removed from ours. That final hint at Wakanda certainly added some context to that by the end.
