17. Spider-Man

He's the character that most people are hoping to see more than any other, but the fact is that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will barely feature in Captain America: Civil War - and it's an unfortunate near-certainty that he won't see much action. His inclusion was somewhat rushed, as Spider-Man's rights weren't even with Marvel Studios when the movie was announced, and Holland wasn't cast until two months after filming had commenced. The likelihood is that he'll mostly appear as Peter Parker - perhaps as a member of a group of gifted New York children that Tony Stark is sponsoring as part of a science scheme - though he may get to demonstrate his power briefly in the highly-anticipated Berlin airport scene, if Holland's presence on set in Germany is anything to go by. His first substantial appearance will come in his titular 2017 movie, in which it has recently been rumoured that the aforementioned unmasking - which took place in the Civil War comic book arc, incidentally - will actually end up taking place on screen.
