5. A Steve Ditko Inspired Spider

Despite looking very modern, make no mistake about it, this costume is heavily inspired by Spider-Man's Silver Age adventures. While previous versions of the costume (particularly both of those seen in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise) have featured a relatively large spider on the character's chest, Marvel has gone the completely opposite direction with a tiny spider which clearly pays homage to the early work of Steve Ditko. If you once again pause the trailer at the right time, you should notice that Marvel have gone down a completely different route with the logo on his back too, and that also borrows a design from his earliest appearances. The costume from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 admittedly looked like it came straight from the comics, but this version in many ways still feels a lot more faithful to what makes Spider-Man special.
