Captain Marvel 2: Everything We Know So Far About Nick Fury's Plan

WandaVision was, of course, Wanda’s series. Marvel’s first Disney+ project told the story of Wanda’s loss and how she became the Scarlet Witch, but she certainly wasn’t the only powered being in Westview.

Monica Rambeau, thanks to a few trips through the barrier of the Hex, ended the series with some gnarly new powers. In the first of the final episode’s two post credit scenes, Monica was taken aside by an FBI agent who soon revealed herself to be a Skrull, with a message from an old friend of her mother's. This is clear nod to Nick Fury, who spent time with Maria Rambeau in the 1990’s, and appeared to be summoning her daughter to his spaceship.

It could have been easily missed, but WandaVision confirmed that its events took place a few months before Spider-Man: Far From Home, meaning that she may have already been working with Fury by the time he was seen in the movie's post-credit sting.

With a time jump of at least these intervening months between WandaVision and her next appearance, it’s likely that Monica will have honed her new found powers, and could even be a leader of Fury’s team in the same way Captain Marvel led Alpha Flight in the comics.
