Starforce, the elite band of super-soldiers assembled by the Kree's Supreme Intelligence, had been kept under wraps until EW's coverage last month, and we're only given a snippet of footage with them involved in the trailer.
In the comics, the group are actually played more as villains than as heroes, and their role in the Kree-Skrull war saw that element played up significantly. Given that Djimon Hounsou's Korath - an ally to Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy - is on the group, it could be possible that the team are corrupted by Ronan, who ropes them into an invasion of Earth (something he masterminded in the comics during the aforementioned Kree-Skrull conflict).
More important, however, is that they're all wearing the same uniforms, and that one actor in particular is included among their ranks...
