Casting A Live Action Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood Movie

There are plenty of amazing young actors in Hollywood and the vast majority of them would jump at the chance to play the show's titular character. After all, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the sort of franchise that could cause an an actor's career to going on an upwards trajectory.

Although there's an abundance of options, Jaeden Martell really stands out as one of the best actors of his generation and he would do a great job as the Full Metal Alchemist. Despite being 17-years old, he's been front and center of some exceptional films. His roles as Bill Denbrough in the It series and as Jacob Thrombey in Knives Out, showed that he's truly a star in the making.

While we wouldn't expect him to react so easily to any short jokes, it would be interesting to see if they emphasized on a child-turned-teenager being considered a dog of the military. He's a character that has been through a lot and is about to go through even more. If Martell's performances are anything to go by, he has proven that he's more than up for the task of taking on a huge role like this.
