Christopher Lee & Ian Holm Both Agree Return For THE HOBBIT

Slowly but surely, Peter Jackson has managed to secure the return of the majority of the major stars from The Lord of the Rings franchise for his soon to be shooting prequel, based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. Deadline say 88 year old veteran (has that term ever been more apt?) Sir. Christopher Lee is in talks to reprise his role as the wizard Saruman, and that Ian Holm will appear as an older version of his beloved role, Bilbo Baggins. Jackson already secured the return of Andy Serkis (Gollum), Sir. Ian McKellen (Gandalf) Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins), Hugo Weaving (Elrond) and from what we've heard, Orlando Bloom (Legolas) in a substantial role. Liv Tyler's also supposed to be back as Arwen. We previously mentioned how Frodo Baggins would feature in the new movie, HERE. The Hobbit has now been given an apparent start date, Feb 14th, Valentine's Day. Surely you all know the score by now?
