Crimson Peak: 15 Reasons To Be Excited

5. Tom Hiddleston And Jessica Chastain

There is simply no denying that both Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chasten are at the peak of their creative powers. Both performers feature in large-scale blockbusters as effortlessly as they do introverted arthouse entires. The brilliant Brit will be seen soon in Ben Wheatley's sexually surreal effort High-Rise; considerably lower-key than Crimson Peak despite insane buzz. Chastian on the other hand is enjoying the brilliant global success of Ridley Scott's The Martian (in which she is entirely fantastic in), as well as greatly impressing in both A Most Violent Year and The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby very recently. Casting the duo in a project together is a masterstroke in itself, but having them playing desperately strange siblings is a level of genius that needed to be attained. With his ghostly manner and striking British tongue, and her pale beauty and quiet ferocity, this is bound to be an absolutely unforgettable and entirely enigmatic duel performance. It is almost a blessing that Cumberbatch and formally involved Emma Stone failed to commit.
