D23: 10 MCU Announcements That Will Break The Internet

8. Filling Out Phase Six With Sequels

While Kevin Feige laid out the entire Phase Five slate back in July, the slate for Phase Six has been left relatively empty. We know that there will be so much more crammed into the third phase of the Multiverse Saga alongside Fantastic Four, The Kang Dynasty, and Secret Wars.

While there are certain to be a lot of surprises in Phase Six, there are some movies that feel a little more expected, though that certainly wouldn't make their announcements any less special. These, of course, would be the sequels.

Throughout the entirety of the Infinity Saga, only The Incredible Hulk has never had a sequel either released or in production. There aren’t likely to be many other franchises joining this short list either, as Shang-Chi 2 and Eternals 2 will almost certainly make up part of Phase Six. Hell, there may even be a Florence Pugh-led Black Widow 2 off the back of her likely main role in Thunderbolts.

The Multiverse of Madness also set up a third Doctor Strange movie, and it would make sense for this to take up one of the empty Phase Six slots, rather than continuing through into the Saga that will follow the Multiverse.
